Carlos began his professional journey in the world of Latin music promotion, where he quickly earned a reputation for recognizing talent and creating innovative marketing strategies. Early in his career, he worked with legendary artists and emerging stars, helping introduce their music to audiences throughout the Americas.
His success led to leadership roles with some of the world's most respected entertainment companies.
At WEA—home to Warner, Elektra, and Atlantic Records—Carlos served as Head of U.S. Promotions for the newly created Tropical Division. There, he helped develop successful promotional campaigns for internationally acclaimed artists and contributed to the growth of Latin music at a time when the genre was beginning to capture global attention.
His work and creative vision eventually brought him to Sony Music Entertainment, where he was entrusted with leading promotional efforts for the Latin Music Division during one of the most important periods in the history of Latin entertainment.

Throughout his career, he worked alongside internationally recognized artists, producers, and entertainers including Gloria Estefan, Emilio Estefan, Ricky Martin, Julio Iglesias, Enrique Iglesias, Jon Secada, Chayanne, Thalia, and many others.

He played a key role in the revival of Menudo, one of the most successful groups in Latin music history, helping lead the effort that resulted in a major recording agreement with MTV and Epic Records.
As Head of Global Operations for Menudo Entertainment, he oversaw the production of the group's MTV reality television series and its associated recordings, further expanding his experience into television production and artist development.
Later, as Head of Recording Studios for Sony Latin America, Carlos collaborated with many of the industry's leading producers, songwriters, arrangers, and performers, contributing to projects that reflected the richness and diversity of Latin music.
His experience ultimately broadened beyond music into film, television, artist management, creative development, and entertainment consulting.
